Battery Pack Replacement
After several years the battery pack in my Fish Hawk probe cracked and warped. I ordered a replacement and it's exactly what I needed. I would be lost with my Fish Hawk. I troll for walleye in Lake Erie and for trout in the Finger Lakes of NY. Speed and temp are key to putting fish in the box!!!

My original battery pack failed after 15 years. Shipping for the new one was fast and the new one is improved over the original. Trevor's installation video was very helpful and it was very easy to install. Back in action and good as news!

It works fine. Bought my X2 unit new for the beginning of our salmon season and by two months in the original battery pack was cracking and falling apart. Needed to buy a replacement and a spare because they are not very durable.

Probe replacement battery pack
I'm extremely careful with boating equipment and my Fish Hawk Probe is no exception. Every time I'm done with it I open the battery hatch cover to dry out the interior. I don't remove the battery pack each time, just open the cover and let it dry. My battery pack failed at the positive wire connection to the battery terminal. The wire just broke off rendering the battery pack inoperative. I think there should be a design change to this area of the battery pack to prevent the wires from separating here. Otherwise a quality product which performs well.
