This page explains how to delete your TD Connect account and the data associated with it. The TD Connect mobile application (the "App") is provided by Grayden Outdoor LLC, doing business as Fish Hawk Electronics ("Fish Hawk," "we," "our," or "us"). 1. Delete Your Account From Within the App
The fastest way to delete your account is from inside the App:
- Open the TD Connect App on your phone.
- Sign in if you are not already signed in.
- Open My Account → Delete Account.
- Confirm when prompted.
Your account and associated data will be removed from our active systems within 30 days.
2. Request Deletion By Email
If you no longer have the App installed, cannot sign in, or would prefer to request deletion in writing, send an email to help@fishhawkelectronics.com and include:
- The subject line Delete Account
- The email address associated with your TD Connect account
We will verify the request, process it within 30 days, and email you a confirmation when deletion is complete.
3. What Data Is Deleted
When you delete your TD Connect account, the following information is permanently removed from our active systems:
- Your account information (email address, name, account identifier)
- All dive and fishing records (depth and temperature readings, timestamps, and device-assigned record indices)
- GPS coordinates and place names associated with your records
- Paired hardware device information (MAC address, last-seen status)
- Notes you have attached to records
4. What Data May Be Retained
We may retain limited information after account deletion in the following cases:
- Anonymous diagnostic logs. Anonymized crash and diagnostic logs may be retained for up to 90 days to help us maintain the App. These logs do not identify you and cannot be linked back to your account after deletion.
- Legal and accounting records. Where required by law, tax, or accounting obligations, we may retain transactional records for the period required by applicable law.
5. Data Stored On Your Phone
Deleting your account removes your data from our servers. To remove the App's local copy of your data from your phone, uninstall the App from your device. Uninstalling the App alone does not delete your account from our servers — you must complete one of the steps in Section 1 or Section 2 above.
