    Priceless tool

This instrument has singlehandedly helped me to catch a heck of a lot more salmon. I drop this down and find the magical 50 degree mark and begin trolling above and below this temp. This is an invaluable tool that helps you to reduce a 70 mile X 30 mile lake (Michigan) to a much smaller water by zeroing in your fishing around the temp's. BRAVO FishHawk.

    Pleasant Surprise

Yes, I was apprehensive, but... I read the instructions and followed them. Easy operation and was able to determine temperature down to 55'. Now my only concern is that my fishing line might break.

Works as advertised; short, easy instructions. Makes finding the productive water column a snap. No more guessing where the thermocline is located. Temperature at depth helps identify different species based on preferred temps. Great product.

    Very handy device

I recieved my TD and tested it just yeterday while out for lakers, it performed as described. The trout were located in the temp zone between 48 and 52 degrees and roughly 65' over 150'. Sure helps cut down on the guess work ..... it didn't help me boat any however !! :)

Tried the Fish Hawk TD the first time last weekend. i had it set so I could see the temperature in the water column. Worked flawlessly, showed the temperature as it was supposed too. Have yet to try it for the depth but will in the future. Great product, will eliminate hours of fishing the wrong depth and temperature for Salmon and Lake Trout.

A gift from me to me on my birthday. A must have for serious anglers who fish in hot temperature late in the season.

    High quality prosuct

Although it's expensive; you get what you pay for. I've found this unit very accurate . When I've had this unit out of the water; I've compared the temp that it shows with known good temp and has been spot on, likewise when submursed, Ive compared the depth reading with what my depth finder shows and has always been accurate.

    An excellent trolling assistant!

Posted by Gary Ducharme on 29th Aug 2014

I downrigger troll for salmon and rainbow trout in Georgian Bay - part of the Great Lakes. This temperature probe puts me on fish by enabling me to troll at the best temperature for the species of fish that I am after.
