Service Commitment and Performance
My original probe had an issue where the temp sensor died just a month or two out of warranty so, I thought I was just SOL. I reached out to the service team and once I had a service request in they emailed me the next day and offered to replace the probe. I was thrilled they worked with me and stood behind the product. This probe is an extremely effective tool. The speed at the ball is a must with great lakes trolling where wind, surface water, and deep current directions and speeds can all be drastically different. We manage our troll speed based on this probes speed and nothing else.

Unit’s ability to find fish-holding water temps cannot be over-estimated. I feel very handicapped when fishing without this unit

X4D Probe
I have been running Fish Hawk probes for many years. I first started with the X2 slip-ducer model and have since upgraded to the X4D. Each has proven to be an irreplaceable tool in my salmon catching arsenal. The X4D with depth readings eliminates the guess work out of running downriggers when trying to estimate the true depth because of blowback. Being in the right zone is critical to success. I also really like the Bluetooth feature with my phone. It allows me to be anywhere on the boat and monitor temperature, speed, and depth without having to view the physical display. Awesome product. First of all the product is outstanding. A must have if you do any trolling for salmon, steelhead or lake trout. I love that they are made in USA and the Fish Hawk customer service just incredible. Finally, the Great Lakes Fishing podcast is really well done and educational. Love this company
