Fish Hawk Probe Replacement Battery Pack

The battery pack and the help from from your support got my probe working again. Thank you.

This was easy to install unplug the old battery pack plug in the new one. Shows some real thought went into the details of the probe. Thanks for all the fish this has helped me boat over the past 6 years.

After three years my original battery pack wore out. I was loosing connection with the probe due to a wire on the battery pack separating. The new battery pack has sheathing over the wires and the X4 works like new. The part was also shipped and received quickly.

I have always removed the battery pack, as I was told by some Lake Ontario salmon dogs that it was necessary to conserve battery life. Of course, the flimsy wiring harness wasn’t up to that task. When I ordered a replacement, I was told by a representative, Trevor Sumption, that removal of the pack was in fact not necessary. I will experiment this year to find out for sure, but the new wiring harness did have a protective sheathing, and so the product is improved. My previous issue had more to do with soldering though. Replacement price, nonetheless, is reasonable, and turnaround time was quick.
