For protection from the harsh sunlight & rain & heavy morning due this is perfect. But I don't think it is very secure & worry about it blowing off in strong winds.

On our boat we use the protective display cover on our X4 units daily. The fit is perfect, light and made of good quality. It helps keep debris and scratches from collecting on the display. In the off season it also keeps our units safe from the elements. Great product and highly recommended one.
