Product Overview

The X4D provides critical probe speed, water temperature and the true depth of your downrigger weight. Using a water pressure sensor, the X4D eliminates guesswork by telling you exactly where the dowrigger ball is in the water column. Surface speed and temperature are also displayed.

Built-in Bluetooth functionality allows the X4D Display to share screen data with a mobile device. A free Fish Hawk Mobile App turns your smartphone into a second display that has a Catch Log feature to capture and share information. The X4D wirelessly integrates with Cannon's Optimum Downrigger and Humminbird's One-Boat Network to put Fish Hawk information at your fingertips anywhere in the boat.

    X4d system

Posted by Sheril Provstgaard on 8th Sep 2021

I have owned the X4 system since it came out on the market. I just purchased the new Optimum down riggers. The X4d will match up nicely. Thanks!

The product works great as advertised. My only complaint would be the mounting fasteners are absolute garbage, go buy new locking nuts and stainless phillips head screws to mound the transducer. For the cost of the unit they can supply $2 worth of fasteners instead of 20 cents.

    I upgraded

Posted by Kilam on 10th Dec 2020

I upgraded my fish hawk X4 to the X4D, got a set of optimums. We dont fish without the fish hawk, even drop it down while anchored for underwater currents and temps! Interested to see the interface on the helix. Cannot wait until spring king season.

    Fish hawk x4d

All around great products and fast shipping. But you would think if you spend $900 on this unit that it would include a probe storage box and a screen cover for the display.

I picked the X4D to replace a Depth Raider - the DR (which needs coated cable) would lose signal after about 90-100' of cable was deployed. We tested the X4D with 180' deployed and zero problems. Love knowing the actual depth of the probe - all probe systems result in considerable blowback, making the counter on the rigger inaccurate - now we know exactly where our bait is relative to the bottom. Overall great product with nearly instantaneous response from the Fishhawk folks when I had a question about installation (which was easy). Looking forward to trying the iphone app on my next trip.

    Nice Product

Can't wait to try it. I have already been in contact with my indoor winter storage facility. I've shipped my new components to them and they have been instructed to remove my X4 transducucer and dash bracket and swap them with X4D new components. X4 was a priceless piece of electronics for sport fishing. The additions to the X4D should be great additions.

Great product - no interferrence with Garmin fishfinder

Posted by Dane on 13th Jun 2014

Have used with Garmin 741xs chart-plotter/fishfinder with no interference issues. CHIRP transducer mounted next to X4D transducer. Very simple to operate and lets me target the exact depth rather than guessing the depth because of blowback. Not an inexpensive addition to my electronics but well worth the cost.
